ภายหลังที่มีข่าวสารออกมาว่า รุกขชาติเอม ชญาธนุส ศรทัตต์ มิสแกรนด์จังหวัดลำพูน ได้ปฏิเสธจังหวะเข้ารับตำแหน่ง แกรนด์โมเดล จากเวทีแข่งขันมิสแกรนด์ไทยแลนด์ 2023 ซึ่งทางด้านแฟนคลับเองก็ได้โพสต์เนื้อความประกาศแจ้งคนในด้อมๆว่า "รู้เรื่องน้องด้วยนะคะ น้องเข้ามาแข่งขันเพื่อเป็นกระบอกเสียงของพลเมือง น้องมีอุดมการณ์ที่เด่นชัด ไม่ได้มาเพื่อเป็นวัตถุทางการค้า ที่จะต้องฝืนทำทุกๆสิ่งทุกๆอย่างเพื่อเพียงแค่ได้มงหรือเพียงแค่ได้เงิน ในเมื่อทางมันไม่ตรงกับบริบทเวทีอีกต่อไป น้องก็มีสิทธิไม่ไปต่อ และก็ถูกแล้วที่ยับยั้งโหวต เนื่องจากหากได้เข้าไป แม้กระนั้นปฏิบัติตามที่เวทีอยากมิได้ก็จะมีปัญหาเรื่องคำสัญญาอีก"

ปัจจุบัน ผู้อำนวยการกองแข่งขันของมิสแกรนด์จังหวัดลำพูน ได้ส่งจดหมายขอโทษไปยัง ณวัฒน์ อิสรไกรศีล เจ้าของเวทีมิสแกรนด์ไทยแลนด์ 2023 ที่ไม่สามารถที่จะคัดเลือกผู้เข้าประกวดที่ตรงตามคุณลักษณะเพื่อสานต่อเจตนารมณ์องค์กรได้ โดยในจดหมายได้เขียนกล่าวว่า

"ผม ในนามผู้อำนวยการกองประกวดมิสแกรนด์ลำพูน รายปี 2023 กราบขออภัย คุณ ณวัฒน์ อิสรไกรศีล ประธานกองประกวด Miss Grand Thailand ที่ไม่สามารถเลือกสรรผู้เข้าร่วมการประกวดที่ตรงตามคุณลักษณะ ได้ตามบริบทที่ดินกองแข่งขันฯ อยากได้เพื่อสานต่อเป้าหมายหน่วยงานได้

ซึ่งขณะนี้ มิสแกรนด์ลำพูน 2023 ได้ปฏิเสธในหลายตำแหน่งที่มีโอกาส ต่อให้แกรนด์โมเดล ทางองค์กรมิสแกรนด์จังหวัดลำพูนรู้สึกเสียดายจังหวะ ที่ควรเป็นของบุคคลที่เหมาะสมในตำแหน่งมิสแกรนด์จังหวัดลำพูน 2023 ที่มีความพร้อมเพรียงในการทำหน้าที่ รวมทั้งจะได้ได้โอกาสในชีวิตที่ดียิ่งขึ้น

ท้ายที่สุดทางกองแข่งขันมิสแกรนด์ลำพูน 2023 ขอโทษ ทุกคนที่เกี่ยวเนื่องทั้งกองแข่งขันฯ ผู้ส่งเสริม ตลอดจนแฟนเพจมิสแกรนด์จังหวัดลำพูน มา ณ โอกาสนี้ พิชชานันท์ ศิริบำรุงพัทฒ์ Provincial Director มิสแกรนด์ลำพูน 2023″
